The main attractions of the Quebrada de Humahuaca

One of the main attractions of northern Argentina is the Quebrada de Humahuaca, which was declared by the UNESCO as World Cultural and Natural Heritage.

Tilcara

The main attraction of this town is the famous Pucara, it is a fortress built by the tilcaras who use to lived this area.

Maimará

It is a town where the Quechua people live. Its main attraction is the Paleta del Pintor, it is a multicolor hill. Three kilometers away from Maimará is located the Posta de Hornillos.

La Posta de Hornillos

The Posta de Hornillos is a colonial house that was used to serve as a post of Army of the Independence. Nowadays there is a museum where you can learn more about the history of the place.

Huacalera

Huacalera is another village located in the Quebrada de Humahuaca. One of the main points to be photographed is its colonial church.

Volcan

This village is located a few kilometers from the capital of Jujuy. Here you can see beautiful landscapes with important vegetation and hills.
